Songwriters Tell Their Stories in New Program

Songwriter Jack Segal (“Scarlet Ribbons,” “When Sunny Gets Blue,” “When Joanna Loved Me”) will inaugurate “Story Night at the Guild” on Nov. 5.
The monthly series, sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the Songwriters Guild Foundation, will feature songwriters talking about their music, answering questions and possibly performing. Vic Mizzy will be the Dec. 1 participant, followed by Ray Evans and Jay Livingston on Feb. 4.
The sessions will be held at the Songwriters Guild, 6430 Sunset Blvd. Admission is $10 for nonmembers, and reservations are advised. Information: (213) 462-1108.
