2-Car Collision Ties Up Noontime Traffic

Traffic on Westlake Boulevard at the Ventura Freeway slowed in Thousand Oaks just before noon Tuesday as Ventura County sheriff’s deputies cleared an accident.
Cars driven by Mahvash Zeinal, 39, and Mary Hughes, 37, both of Thousand Oaks, collided in the intersection about 11:50 a.m., deputies said.
The pair were treated for minor injuries at Columbia Las Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks and released.
No one was cited in the incident, which is under investigation.
