Tournament Is Canceled

Turmoil surrounding the Ventura College men’s basketball program has forced the school to cancel its annual tournament, scheduled for Nov. 28-30, athletic coordinator Dick James said.

Ventura players, many of whom have said they plan to sit out the season because of a two-year probation against the program, are expected to inform administrators today if they will play this season.
