Santa Margarita is ranked No. 1 in the Southern Section Division V poll and Woodbridge is No. 4, but there’s no doubt about the favorite: The Eagles have won 19 in a row, are averaging 8.9 yards per play and 47.6 points per game. Carson Palmer has thrown 17 touchdown passes, a school-record 162 passes without an interception and completed 65.6% of his passes.
