Free Tickets, at Your Service

Hundreds of sailors and Marines stood in line for more than an hour at local bases to get a shot at attending today’s Chargers game, compliments of the San Diego City Council.

Friday’s giveaway of 750 was hastily arranged over the last two days as Mayor Susan Golding and the council sought to repair a public image trashed by their Tuesday vote to buy tickets to save money then throw them away.
