CARMEL--In a gift-buying mood? The Homecrafters Marketplace, with about 300 artisans, will have an abundance of goods such as jewelry, clothing, woodwork, handmade toys, stained glass and dolls. SAN RAFAEL--About 85 artists will display handmade creations at the Clay and Glass Festival, Nov. 22-23. NEWCASTLE--The Nov. 23 Mountain Mandarin Festival includes a display of 3-D mandarin-orange artworks. Past creations have included a dragon and a figure of a Japanese woman. FELTON--Fur trappers will display the tools of their trade at Roaring Camp railroad park’s Mountain Man Rendezvous, Nov. 28-30. A reenactment group will don 1830s-era costumes for the living history presentation, with trappers, traders and Native Americans, who will demonstrate weaving and beadwork and sell crafts. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at California 17 and Graham Hill Road. $5 per car parking fee. SAN FRANCISCO--Revelers will board a ferryboat at Hyde Street Pier for Christmas at Sea, Dec. 13-14.
