* Odds that you will be hurt or killed in an elevator: 1 in 17 million.

* Chance that the battery in your smoke detector isn’t working: 1 in 3.

* Odds that your next meal will be at McDonald’s: 1 in 8.

* Chance that you’re allergic to latex condoms: 1 in 100.

* Chance that you will be seriously injured by Christmas decorations this year: 1 in 3,000.

* Chance that you’ll have no fresh vegetables in your home this week: 14 in 100.

* Chance that a headache was caused by sex: 1 in 400.

* Portion of calories the average adult consumes in the form of alcohol: 1 in 10.

* Chance that you will crush a finger with a hammer this year: 1 in 300.

* Chance that an adult man doesn’t know how to put on a condom: 1 in 5.
