Autopsy Set for Body Found Off Mulholland

STUDIO CITY — An autopsy is scheduled today on a decomposed body found during the weekend near Mulholland Drive and Coldwater Canyon.
Police said the victim was believed to be a white male in his 30s. The body was found Saturday at 2:15 p.m. about 150 feet down an embankment.
“The victim was in a bushy area,” said LAPD spokesman Jason Lee. “We estimate [he] had been there for several months.”
A 1986 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle that was reported missing a week ago was found near the body, but it was unclear if the victim was the registered owner.
“We’re looking at this as a traffic accident until we get the coroner’s report,” Lee said.
