Two Law Firms Sign Hefty Westside Leases

Two Los Angeles law firms have signed some of the biggest leases on the Westside this year. Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro, which claims celebrity attorney Robert Shapiro as a partner, has renewed its lease at Fox Plaza on Avenue of the Stars. The practice signed an 11-year lease worth more than $30 million, according to Gary Weiss of the West Los Angeles office of Julien J. Studley, who represented the law firm in the deal. The building owner was represented by Jeff Strnad of LaSalle Partners. The deal comes on the heels of Troop, Meisinger, Steuber & Pasich’s $65-million sublease of insurance broker Johnson & Higgins’ space in Century Park Towers.
