Music Fraternity Wins Notable Award

Cal State Fullerton’s chapter of a music fraternity has won the International Collegiate Chapter of the Year Award.
The award was presented by Mu Phi Epsilon, an international professional music fraternity that has chapters all over the world. The university chapter, Beta Alpha, was cited for its “outstanding” service to the school and community.
Members of Beta Alpha were praised for providing ushering services at Cal State Fullerton concerts and recitals, hosting mock juries, establishing a memorial award honoring a former music teacher and sponsoring a recital with other chapters.
