Coach Henry Bibby said he is closer to finding the players he believes can score crucial baskets late in the game. Junior Adam Spanich, who leads the team with a 14-point average; senior Gary Williams, who scored 23 points Friday against Loyola Marymount, and sophomore Jarvis Turner, who scored 19 against the Lions and had 18 against New Mexico, are Bibby’s choices after three games.
