A victim of a Thanksgiving night shooting in Watts died Friday, and Los Angeles police have asked for the public’s help in finding the killer who also wounded two others, detectives said.
Martin Custanon, 23, was standing with a group of people in the Nickerson Gardens housing project when an unknown number of suspects opened fire shortly before 11 p.m., said Sgt. Tony Rosa. Custanon, wounded in the head, was rushed to Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center, where he later died. The other two victims, a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, were listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Mando Bernal at South Bureau homicide: (213) 237 1310.
