Lockyer to Speak at Breakfast Meeting

State Senate leader Bill Lockyer will make a appearance Thursday in his campaign for state attorney general at a meeting of a support group of the Jewish Home for the Aging.
Senate President Pro Temp Lockyer, D-Hayward, will talk at a breakfast meeting of The Executives, an organization that provides financial support for the home.
The meeting is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Warner Center Marriott, 21850 Oxnard St., Woodland Hills.
Lockyer is thought to be the top contender for the Democratic nomination in the November 1998 race to fill the office being vacated by current state Atty. Gen. Dan Lungren, who is running for governor.
Admission to the meeting is $18 for members, $20 for nonmembers.
