Youth DUI Program to Start in Spring
A program that graphically discourages teens from drinking and driving by staging car accidents, deaths and funerals has been approved for Fountain Valley High School students before graduation this spring.
The program, called Every 15 Minutes, recently won approval from the City Council and will be funded with about $10,000 in donations made by residents and businesses.
Police said the program, including mock crash scenes and the writing of obits, has received positive responses in Westminster and other cities.
