Special Events Booked for Library Week

The Orange County Public Library’s 27 branches have scheduled special events this month ranging from storytelling, historical presentations, arts and crafts and others.
The events, most of which are free, celebrate National Library Week, April 19 through 25.
Highlights include “Create Your Own Story Book,” in Costa Mesa April 21; “A Dramatic Evening with Abigail Adams,” in Fountain Valley April 22; “Origami for Children” in Garden Grove April 22; and “Chemical Magic” in La Habra April 23.
The library is also sponsoring a fund-raising walk on Volunteer Connection Day April 25.
