FORWARD
At Coyotes, 6 p.m. today: Phoenix is trying to stay in the Stanley Cup playoff picture. “You keep looking at the scoreboard and watching teams like Edmonton and San Jose creeping up on us,” Rick Tocchet told the Arizona Republic. “We’ve got 10 games left, and we’re going to have to win our share of them if we’re going to get in.”

Flames, 5 p.m. Sunday: Brian Sutter is paying close attention to his team. “Of the last 18 games our team has played, there are only two that i didn’t like,” he told the Calgary Sun. “We don’t like it. It happened. Put it behind you.” Any questions?

Oilers, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday: Bill Huard, Mike Grier and Mats Lindgren have a name for their line. “I look at the fourth line as an energy line,” Huard told the Edmonton Sun. “We have to create energy every time we’re out there. We may only get out there a few shifts, but you have to keep the tempo up.”

At Sharks, 7:30 p.m. Thursday: Joe Murphy, who spent a great deal of this season on the St. Louis Blues’ injured list, is not happy to be sitting out games with San Jose. “I want to play. These are such important games. But at least now I know what it is and I can stop worrying about what’s going to happen. I can concentrate on getting ready to roll,” Murphy told the San Jose Mercury News after being suspended for one game.

QUOTE
“I never won a Stanley Cup. I never won an Olympic medal. I was in Sarajevo. I thought I might have had a chance with this [Czech Olympic team] but then I was demoted. I was so happy for them, but I was a little disappointed inside. You saw happy faces and couldn’t be a part of it.”
