A man whose body was found in a Huntington Central Park lake died accidentally, police said Tuesday.
The body of Roger Alan Wendorf, 57, of Westminster was spotted Thursday morning by two joggers at Edwards Street and Inlet Drive.
His fully clothed body bore no injuries other than a superficial wound to the forehead that may have been caused during the fall into the lake, Police Lt. Jon Arnold said.
An autopsy performed Friday identified the cause of death as drowning.
“All indications are that the death will be ruled an accident,” Arnold said.
