From Times Wire Reports
A 6-year-old Buffalo boy was swept to his death in Niagara Falls as his mother watched. Richard Karm had spotted some people at the water’s edge at a popular falls picnic spot. He ran toward them and fell into the Niagara River that feeds the falls, authorities said. Thomas Rowe, a friend of Richard’s mother, went in after him, only to be carried 200 feet before inching his way back to shore.
