Rodney Harvey, 30; Model, Actor in ‘My Own Private Idaho’

Rodney Harvey, 30, model and actor best known for “My Own Private Idaho.” In addition to the 1991 Gus Van Sant film, Harvey appeared in “Mixed Blood,” “Five Corners” and “Salsa.” He also starred as one of three orphaned teenage brothers in the 1990 Francis Ford Coppola television series “The Outsiders,” a reprise of Coppola’s 1983 film. A native of Philadelphia, Harvey first appeared in magazine layouts, principally photographed by Bruce Weber. On April 10 in Hollywood of a heroin overdose.
