Chapman kicker/punter Matt George has signed a tryout contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers and will report to rookie camp Thursday and mini-camp June 1-5.
George, who holds the Chapman distance record for a field goal (53 yards) and is tied for most punts (68). He averaged 43.8 yards per punt.

Julia Wald, the Southern Section Division III girls’ water polo player of the year and a member of The Times Orange County first team, has signed with USC, Rosary Athletic Director Juleen Wise said.
Wald, a two-meter player and two-time Golden West League most valuable player, led Rosary to the section Division III championship last season.
