* Late Nite Catechism (2nd Story Theatre, Room 7, Hermosa Beach Playhouse, 710 Pier Ave. (at Pacific Coast Highway), Hermosa Beach, [310] 372-4477). Maripat Donovan and Vicki Quade’s hit solo show about a nun teaching an adult catechism class--with audiences as the students--opens today at a second venue (the show is also playing indefinitely at Upstairs at the Coronet in L.A.). Donovan, pictured above, will play Sister through Feb. 8, then will resume the role at the Coronet on Feb. 16, swapping venues with Jane Morris, now in the show at the Coronet. Thu.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 2 p.m. Indefinitely. $35.
