Burge Twins Subject of Disney Basketball Movie
The Disney Channel is debuting a movie this week, “Double Teamed,” about former Palos Verdes High basketball stars Heidi and Heather Burge, the identical twins who led their team to the Southern Section 3-A championship and Division II title game as juniors in 1988. The story centers around their high school rivalry and journey to the WNBA. It airs tonight, 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.; Saturday, 8 p.m.
