Location Picked for Yosemite-Killings Trial

MARIPOSA — The triple-murder trial of suspected Yosemite killer Cary Stayner will be held in Santa Clara County, a judge ruled Tuesday.
Judge Thomas Hastings chose Santa Clara County over Sacramento County after hearing evidence from a survey of eligible jurors conducted in the two areas.
Hastings eliminated Los Angeles after officials there said they could not accommodate the trial.
