Bush Says He’s Not Pretzel-Shy

WASHINGTON — Passing out after choking on a pretzel hasn’t made President Bush change his snacking habits.
“Heck, no,” Bush said Wednesday when “NBC Nightly News” anchor Tom Brokaw asked if he had changed his routine.
“If I want to sit by myself and watch football with the dogs, I’m going to,” Bush said. “I even fired up a pretzel the other day, and it got down smoothly.”
Watching football on TV Jan. 13, Bush fainted after swallowing a pretzel that went down the wrong way.
