Seoul to Propose More North-South Reunions

South Korea said it would propose reunions of divided Korean families in response to what it called a positive North Korean statement on reviving official talks.
North Korean state media reported that government and ruling party officials confirmed Tuesday a need for government talks to uphold the North-South summit agreement of June 2000.
South Korean Unification Minister Hong Soon Young said the government would propose more reunions of family members separated since the 1950-53 Korean War.
