Feinstein, Boxer to Back Foe of Condit in Primary

Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer said this week that they will support a state lawmaker in his bid to replace Rep. Gary Condit (D-Ceres).
State Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza is one of several Democrats who have lined up to run against Condit in the March primary. Cardoza is a onetime Condit aide and political protege.
