Elks Lodge to Honor Police, Fire Officials

THOUSAND OAKS — Ventura County law enforcement officers and firefighters will be recognized Wednesday for outstanding service by the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge.
Among the award recipients will be Senior Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Hawes, Fire Capt. Mark Acevedo and California Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Pedeferri.
Presenters will include Ventura County Supervisor Frank Schillo and Thousand Oaks Mayor Ed Masry.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge Meeting Room, 158 Conejo School Road. The public is invited. A social period will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner, which costs $8, begins at 7 p.m. For more information call 497-4511.
