Medical device maker Volcano Therapeutics Inc. in Laguna Niguel said Tuesday that it has picked up $24 million in private financing from a group of new and existing investors.
New investors include Johnson & Johnson Development Group, Medtronic, Neomed and Mayo Medical Ventures, the company said in a news release. Existing investors include Domain Associates.
Volcano Therapeutics makes devices that help discover and treat plaques in the coronary and peripheral arteries.
