Cramped in Coach
Your article “In an Era of Turbulence, Airline Satisfaction Rising” (Travel Insider, July 21) does not touch on all the reasons for the discontent with airlines. If the CEOs or high-ranking airline officials took a five-hour trip in coach class, they would understand the root of the dissatisfaction.
The aircraft is mostly coach, where the thundering herd sits scrunched up, knees touching the seat in front, for hours on end.
When I first started traveling by airline, the coach section was not as cramped as it is now.
