Defender Heather Aldama scored her first career goal in the 66th minute to give the Boston Breakers (6-4-4) a 1-1 tie with the Washington Freedom (5-4-3) in front of a season-high 8,105 at Boston.
The draw moved Boston into a first-place tie with Atlanta.
