Wife Sentenced to 40 Years for Murder

A Buena Park woman convicted of shooting and killing her husband in front of their children when she found him sexually involved with a 16-year-old girl was sentenced Friday to 40 years to life in prison.
Sherry Derosiers, 31, was convicted May 19 of second-degree murder and a gun-use enhancement in the Dec. 20, 2001, shotgun slaying of Danny Derosiers, City News Service reported.
Orange County Superior Court Judge William Froeberg sentenced Derosiers to 15 years to life on the murder count, and 25 years to life for using a gun.
