Explosives Found in Man’s Car, Deputies Say

A 25-year-old Fullerton man remained in Orange County Jail on Saturday after police discovered evidence of explosives in his vehicle during a traffic stop near Cal State Fullerton, authorities said.
Christian Hedegaardschou was booked on suspicion of making and possessing a destructive device, both felony charges, Orange County sheriff’s deputies said. His bail is $50,000.
Police found a box labeled “explosive” that contained bottles of white and gray powders.
