Front man: Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots has been selected as lead singer for a band that will feature former Guns N’ Roses members Slash (guitar), Duff McKagan (bass) and Matt Sorum (drums), Rolling Stone reports. The group will be called Reloaded.
Dance of death: Gerald Arpino’s “I/DNA,” a dance about the death penalty, will get its West Coast premiere when the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago performs at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion June 26-29.
‘Survivor,’ redux: CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor,” after returning in the fall in another exotic locale, will then stage a “tournament of champions” contest at midseason, bringing back contestants from previous competitions, including Richard Hatch and Susan Hawk.
