Oracle Hires Morgan Analyst as Executive

Oracle Corp. has hired one of its biggest fans on Wall Street as a top executive to work alongside Chief Executive Larry Ellison.
Charles Phillips of Morgan Stanley will become executive vice president of Oracle.
Phillips has called Oracle one of the “most well-positioned software companies in the world.”
Shares of Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle fell 35 cents to $12.56 on Nasdaq.
