* Josh Garcia, Riverside Rubidoux: Completed 11-point comeback in the final five minutes with a tip-in at the buzzer of a 54-52 win over Lake Arrowhead Rim of the World in the Beaumont tournament.

* Blake Warren, Anaheim Servite: Junior swingman had 29 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots in a 68-52 victory over Downey Warren in the first round of the Loara tournament.

* George Medrano, Beverly Hills: Made two three-point shots in the final five minutes and finished with 18 points in a 49-43 victory over Camarillo at the Simi Valley tournament.

* Matt Melendez, Lakewood Mayfair: Had three goals and two assists in a 5-1 victory over Long Beach Jordan in the Beverly Hills tournament.

* Courtney Price, Redondo: Scored 19 points in a 47-34 victory over Chino Hills Ayala in the first round of the Brea Olinda tournament.

* Kim Linn, Whittier La Serna: Scored 31 points in a 65-52 win over El Segundo in pool play at the Fullerton Vernie Ford Classic.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

* Mary Helen Tomer, Pomona Diamond Ranch: Scored four goals and had an assist in a 6-1 nonleague victory over Covina Charter Oak.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

* Sophia Sarlo, Malibu: Her fifth goal, with nine seconds left in overtime, was the game-winner in a 14-13 nonleague victory over Oxnard.
