Bankruptcy Judge OKs Sale of Chevys Eateries

A federal bankruptcy judge approved the sale of Chevys Inc. to a subsidiary of Real Mex Restaurants, the Long Beach-based parent of the Acapulco and El Torito Mexican chains.
The sale of 106 Chevys Fresh Mex and 10 Fuzio Universal Pasta eateries is valued at more than $90 million, Emeryville, Calif.-based Chevys said. The deal is expected to close in January.
