Arizona Starts Fast in Rout of Oregon

Hassan Adams scored 20 points, and Channing Frye had 18 points and 11 rebounds, helping No. 14 Arizona open a big lead and then withstand an Oregon rally in a 90-66 victory on Sunday at Tucson.

Ivan Radenovic, a freshman from Serbia playing in his ninth college game, had a season-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Arizona.

Andre Iguodala had 14 points for the Wildcats, who improved to 13-3 overall and 5-2 in the Pacific 10 Conference.

Luke Jackson had 20 points, six rebounds and six assists for Oregon (9-5, 4-3).

No. 5 Louisville 65, Tennessee 62 -- Francisco Garcia scored 24 points at Knoxville, Tenn., and the Cardinals (15-1) rallied to defeat the Volunteers (10-5) for their 15th consecutive victory.

No. 9 Kentucky 71, Notre Dame 63 -- Chuck Hayes scored 21 points and Gerald Fitch had 15 at South Bend, Ind., for the Wildcats (13-2), who defeated the Fighting Irish (9-6) for the 10th consecutive time.

Florida State 75, No. 10 Wake Forest 70 -- Tim Pickett scored all 18 of his points in the second half, and the Seminoles (14-5, 3-3) defeated the Demon Deacons (11-4, 2-3) in an Atlantic Coast Conference game at Tallahassee, Fla.

No. 12 Kansas 78, Colorado 57 -- Wayne Simien had 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Jayhawks (12-3, 4-0) to their 21st straight victory over the Buffaloes (10-6, 2-3) at Allen Fieldhouse in a Big 12 Conference game at Lawrence, Kan.

No. 23 Purdue 76, Michigan State 70 -- Brandon McKnight scored a layup with eight seconds left to force overtime, then made a jumper that gave the Boilermakers (14-4, 4-1) the lead for good in a victory over the Spartans (8-8, 3-2) in a Big Ten Conference game at West Lafayette, Ind.

Michael Bell and Terrence Todd had 20 points each, helping Fairfield (10-8, 3-4) to a 75-56 victory over Loyola Maryland (0-18, 0-8) at Fairfield, Conn. Loyola has lost 31 consecutive games, two short of the Division I NCAA record of 33 held by Grambling....
