Transient Arrested in Hit-Run Death of Boy

A transient has been arrested in connection with the June 4 hit-and-run killing of a 13-year-old boy, police said Wednesday.
Christopher Shawn Werner, 29, was arrested at a Costa Mesa motel. Police said he was driving a friend’s car when Alejandro Rosales was struck near the San Diego Freeway in Westminster. Also arrested was Werner’s girlfriend, Lisa Jo Sanford of Huntington Beach on suspicion of harboring a fugitive.
