A Third Suitcase of Human Remains Found

A suitcase containing human remains was found floating near a bridge, the third such discovery in the Virginia Beach area this month.
A boater alerted police that he had found the suitcase floating off the second island of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, said Virginia Beach police spokesman Don Rimer.
The remains were sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Norfolk. Detectives think the suitcase is related to the two others found this month, Rimer said.
