Sunday at No. 11 North Carolina, 4:30 p.m. PST -- The Tar Heels, who were stunned by Santa Clara in each team’s season opener Friday in Northern California and are playing in the Maui Invitational this week, will play host to the Trojans for their home opener in Chapel Hill. USC has never beaten North Carolina, losing all six meetings, including 82-65 on Nov. 22, 1999, in Maui.
