Southwest to Add Service From Dallas to Missouri

Southwest Airlines Co. announced it would launch service from Dallas to St. Louis and Kansas City on Dec. 13, and American Airlines plans to challenge Southwest on those routes.
American, a unit of Fort Worth-based AMR Corp., has no timetable for launching Love Field service, but spokesman Tim Wagner said, “We want to start as quickly as possible.”
