DGA honors: Three members of the Directors Guild of America will receive special awards for lifetime career achievement and extraordinary contributions to the guild: Jerry H. Ziesmer, a feature film assistant director; Joseph R. Aceti, a sports director; and Donald Jacob, a stage manager and associate/assistant director who has worked on a variety of TV shows. The awards will be presented on Jan. 28.
