From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Three employees at Disney’s California Adventure were taken to a hospital early Friday after one of them mixed two chemicals that released a toxic gas, authorities said.
The worker accidentally mixed a gallon of a bleaching agent, sodium hypochlorite, with 15 gallons of hydrochloric acid in a water treatment system for the Flik’s Fun Fare attraction area, said Maria Sabol, a spokeswoman for the Anaheim Fire Department.
The employees were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where they were treated and released, Sabol said.
