ImpreMedia Acquires Bay Area Newspaper

Publisher ImpreMedia said it had acquired El Mensajero, a Spanish-language newspaper in the Bay Area.
New York-based ImpreMedia said the acquisition would give advertisers improved access to the Bay Area’s Latino market. ImpreMedia also publishes El Diario in New York, La Raza in Chicago and La Opinion in Los Angeles.
Based in San Francisco, El Mensajero is a weekly newspaper with a circulation of 112,000, according to ImpreMedia.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
