Seeking humanity

AS I read about the film “Munich” [“Spielberg Enters a Crossfire He Could Not Avoid,” Dec. 18], I began to appreciate Steven Spielberg more than I ever had.
I never think of him in the context of being Jewish. He is an artist to me; a creator of film and moving entertainment.
Reading about how the Palestinian and Israeli actors embraced each other crying after the assassination scene, I wept with them. I continue to hope that more Israelis and Palestinians will find their common humanity through justice and peace. I yearn for that embrace and understanding to take place in their troubled land.
