From Times Wire Reports
Multinational nuclear arms talks with North Korea will resume July 26 after being on hold for 13 months after the communist nation pulled out, South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said.
The government in Pyongyang agreed this month to return to the talks during the week of July 24 in Beijing, after being assured by a top U.S. envoy that Washington recognized North Korea’s sovereignty.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry gave no closing date for the latest round of six-party talks, which also include the United States, China, Russia and Japan.
