Evercore Hires Viacom Exec to Run Operations

Evercore Partners, the investment firm co-founded by former Deputy Treasury Secretary Roger Altman, hired Fredric G. Reynolds, a former Viacom Television Stations Group chief executive, to run its daily operations.
Reynolds, 54, said he would take up his posts as president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer next month. Evercore, headed by co-CEOs Altman and Austin Beutner, has offices in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco and manages $1.25 billion.
