Re “Wilderness Site May See Oil Drilling,” May 31: How tragic that “the highest level of protection” for public land -- an area being designated wilderness within a national park -- isn’t enough to spare it from oil and gas drilling. Is nothing sacred? Only the petroleum industry, apparently.
