Re “New School Built on Tainted Fill,” June 5: Cheat me once, shame on you. Cheat me twice, shame on me.
First at Belmont and now at Santee, Los Angeles Unified School District administrators have cheated both students and taxpayers twice.
It’s time they paid. Those responsible, no matter who, should be sent to jail and sued for malfeasance in an amount reflecting the damage they have caused. Call it vandalism, which it truly is, and punish it accordingly. Then maybe there won’t be a third time.
