Apartments Evacuated After Trash Truck Fire

Two dozen residents were briefly evacuated from an apartment complex Wednesday after a trash truck caught fire, officials said.
No one was injured in the noon blaze that broke out near the Renaissance apartment complex in the 3300 block of Orange Avenue.
The fire began in the cab of the truck, then spread to the rear where it melted garbage and tires, officials said.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, they said.
